Excellent composition here, Nigel! I like the separation with the wet and not so wet sand, and the detail of the lone pine cone is very good.

All splendid Nigel: the great simplicity first of all, the elegance of the drawing, the contrasting light, the composition diagonally cut in two part of the same dimentions ... In my fav.

Think I like this best of your mini-series. There's so little here, yet so much to look at. A wonderful study of textures and shapes.

I don't know if you cropped this, but if so, it might be interesting to rework it so that the boundary between the wet and dry sand ran along the diagonal or perhaps horizontally across the image.
