| About |
Another day - 7,500 iterations, and the blues and greens seem to have won out - a large tendril of particles has made its way across the frame to dominate the composition.
This is an ongoing particle system on my home PC.
This is a particle system build from reading in a color field image - as the particles swirl around they leave trails. The results after about a night of processing is this final image, which in the details produce some really nice flowing lines.
Make with processing.org.
I can use any image and build a flowing particle system around it. I plan to post some experiments using photographs as the basis, but this one was so subtle and beautiful from the mathematics I had to post it.
Please comment away, I'm thinking of pursuing this as an art form seperate from my photography, so ratings will be important before I make a decision.
