About Lonely Walker, tell me why
you count the leaves and look so sad?
Lonely Walker, let me by
and, promise, I'll relieve your dread.
By laugh, by song, by dance and game...
How can one stay the same?!

Beautiful capture with great color that produce a very quiet atmosphere, great shot

I like the perspective here, along the leaf strewn sidewalk, Gabriela, and the lone pedestrian adds a lot of interest to the shot, too.

The about suits well with the photo you captured Gabriela. The perspective, and the tonal range give rise to a beautiful composition.
Well done.
Congrats

Is it a game about autumnal leaves with Yoshiyuki? But the photo are different. Your picture captures the atmosphere of an empty street dominated by the dead yellow leaves. A real autumnal mood.
Have a pleasant weekend you too Gabriela.

Giuseppe

Hi Gabriela,
A nice poem to go along with this picture. I like the perspective and mood.
All the best.
Chris

You're right, Giuseppe! I thought that only the alley would not give that mood of melancholy unless a human was included. So, I chose Yoshiyuki to play the part! This was on December 7, at his first walk after coming out of hospital, and it was the first part of the walking tour. The second part was his, under the colourful Japanese maple trees.
When the gingko trees turn yellow they create a fantastic image, like trembling candles under the sun. Next, the leaves fall and make the most beautiful carpet.
Thank you for the visit, dear Friend!
Friendliest regards from Gabriela

beautiful with autumnal sentiment and tale dear Gabriela Okusama, good scene and composition leads my eye to the further point, really time goes by with fallen gingko leaves--as you know remember the last scene of "the third man" at Wienner Zentralfriedhof--Vivien and J.Cotton.

Larysa Khomenkova   {K:2529} 11/25/2007
