This is so great... it really reminds me of Arnold Newman's compositional style, which is a BIG compliment! In his 'environmental' portraiture, he would often include a clue as to the background or profession of his subject, and the painting on the wall does this admirably. I love the muted tones and the sensual textures... the contrast between the patterns on the couch and those on her dress and tights works so well. Furthermore her pose is classic and elegant in the style of the great portrait photographers of the past, like Newman, Penn etc. You have succeeded not only in bringing out her extraordinary beauty, but also in showing her creativity and intelligence.

Excellent Pawel... :)

What I love is the complete opposites of the scene... Naked rear view and sparce furniture of the painted subject in contrast to front view of the artist and plush upholstery... All tone on tone... :)

Congratulations on the BiP award... Well deserved... :)

Extra nice work...

Onie...
