Wow-great light at the hair!! A scarry fellow that I wouldn´t like to meet feeling as small as I do when viewing him/her right now!
Best wishes

Fun shot Kes . . . feed him a cricket and you can get him to do anything!! LoL! Still . . . I'd skip putting a leash on him . . . :) You know what really makes this shot so distinct for me is that shallow DOF on the ground. :)

Best Regards for the Holiday Season,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Hi Kes,
Quite the critter! I like the way you got the light just right in this shot. His position in relation to the light makes the hair stand out nicely with a nice glowing rim. I think it makes him appear energetic.

A stunning close up- can see each hair! The colour and warmth makes me think it's a beautiful thing!

Peter De Rycke   {K:39357} 12/24/2006
Stunning sho, so frightful looking .. aren't these spiders poisenous and dangerous to man ?
Peter

Kes     {K:18368} 12/24/2006
Thanks Peter! Yes, somewhat dangerous but not too bad. Locally, our Black Widow spider is much more dangerous, then our Brown Recluse is worse yet!

Cheers,
Kes

If this isn't shot behind glass I have to commend you on your bravery Kes ~ awesome capture with a wonderful use of backlighting to highlight all those hairy legs!!

Marija Ristic   {K:5066} 1/29/2007
yewwwwwwww :/ but, the shot is great! the backlighting wonderfully enhanced the body (yewww) of the animal...i don't know what else to say, I'm actually writing this out of memory...I ain't scrolling up to see the photo again! which means - its successful!! ;D
