Great job Paul! Perfect title too. Plenty of detail and sharpness; right down to the feathers under the beak. You certainly didn't have much DOF to work with but you got it right here.

You just can't get the hang of shooting images with impact,Paul...hehehe...good golly miss molly! such a stellar shot not only technically,but i really like the contrast of the elements...diffused/soft n' pretty BG vs. sharp details of this most noble bird...i would probably miss the shot as i gawked at what i saw thru the lens...LOL...congrats for fine work!
