This one reminds me a photo from Miguel Rio Branco, a great brazillian photographer from Magnum Photos. Very good choice in b/w and it has a strong sad feeling.

Prelep rad. U meni budi prejaku tugu i ujedno bes. Sudbina ovog psa... Zasluzuje da ne bude sam, da bude voljen i prihvacen takav kakav jeste ... u dubini njegovih ociju se krije kakav jeste (samo kada bi se neko zagledao u njegovu dubinu), a iz tuge se radjaju najlepse i najdragocenije vrednosti, odnosi, vezanost i bliskost ... verujem da ce mu se sudbina preokrenuti i da ces imati srece da ga tada uslikas i prikazes nam ga u drugacijem svetlu.

Oh such a sweet fellow indeed looking very sad. Some people think that dogs only act on instincts, but they also get sad, afraid, happy or excited or long for somebody just like us humans. A better friend can hardly be found. Thanks for sharing this.
