About Altered state of the climate, that is. I used a blue/yellow polarizer on this one. The purpose is obvious : to alter the natural colours in order to express the equallly disturbed climate we are having at the moment.

I like the results of the filter. Yes, the weather is strange all over the world.

Clever use of filter to achieve the result you wanted ... the golden water looks truly impressive!

Don Loseke   {K:32503} 12/25/2006
That is quite creative Christian. Happy Holidays. Don.

Pure liquid gold rushing our way! Refreshing seascape.

Good sense, Christian. But a golden lake is maybe signalling into the wrong direction. Too beautiful to be shocking;)
Kind regards, Markus

Btw, what is your new job?

Christian Barrette   {K:21125} 12/28/2006
Thank you Markus. How have been your Holidays ?

Golden waters may look good on a screen, but I wouldn't drink it nor take a chace in swimming in it either.

I should talk about my new jobS. First I'm working on the conception and implementation of a continuing education program for college level teachers in pedagogy. My focus is on the integration of IT. I have worked on the analysis of competencies in this field, and from there have designed an integrated set of courses. I also have scenarioed and experienced some of these courses. At the same time, I collaborate into an online courses offer based on the concept of rapid and light e-learning. This is 3 days a week. For the remaining 2 days, I manage a small research in the form of a metasynthesis of conclusions drawn from experiments of IT integration into college courses : what works and what doesn't. This has draw me into the wrinting of articles and the giving of lectures. And to top it all, I've been reworking "Copilote". You remeber that piece of software that helped teachers in the analysis of their content matters and the production of self-asessment material for their students. The software is now obsolete, but not the methodology. We have found that CMapTools, a java based programm developped and distribute by [http://cmap.ihmc.us/], is able to incorportae the basic principles of our methodology. I have been involved in the deployment of that software for the college level teachers of Québec.

Sounds all very interesting, Christian. I will send you and e-mail.
Markus
