Dreamy image....and surely the metalic 'cable' adds a lot on emotions here as it gives the idea of prisoned animal....very sad but that is the target here. Excellent and of caurse I love the sepia like tone with the shining from the sunlight white trees. Also about the placements into the frame all looks to be at the right place. of caurse trying to find something bad but......nothing! Congratulations!

looks to be stunning to say the least.
Plus I am a great fan of infrared photography!!
I can't shoot it but I do love it! I hope one day
Ill have a camera that can take good IR photos!

Thank you VERY much Paul !!

A very attractive, dream-like quality to this image Peter! I really like the style of the images in your portfolio.
The images are consistantly interesting. Another thing I noticed here on Usefilm is that if the majority of a person's images show up nicely in the thumbnails, they usually have a very nice portfolio. (not always true, but usually)

Have a great Holiday Week!
Andre

greetings peter, what an amazing capture, brilliant,. i admit i'm a serious part time amateur photographer & a compleat novice at IR,. may i ask what speed this was taken, the horses mane looks like its slightly blowing in the wind, very difficult in IR long exposures to freeze anything,. great shot, regards art,.

Peter De Rycke   {K:39357} 1/8/2007
Hi Art,
This picture was taken at F2 - 1/50" - ISO 100
Now speeds are technically limited to 1/60" and aperture is always F2 (i use the nightshot mode of the camera).
Thanks for your interest !
Peter
