im totally agree with Jan.
This shining and glorious face looks a lot younger than age of 80,although ,age,face does not matter,but A kind and young heart.
That's how it should be to my mind.
Great job like your previous ones,
Is he your father ? i think,he is.

Great impressive portrait!
My granny just get 90 years old and i alsou portraited her..i like those expressive crumpled skin and the eye look..there is something more in this picture and it makes it so good to view ;)

Wonderful portrait! Agree with the comments, he's too young looking to be 80!
I was looking at the image, and wondered what it would look like as a dramatic b/w..so i hope you don't mind (since i'm on vacation, and looking for things to play with!) ...i took the image, and spent a little time in CS2 converting it to b/w a few new technics. There's much burning, and sharpen painting, along with some channel mixing to get the strong b/w that i had in mind. i hope you like it. You've got a wonderful eye for portraits, so I didn't want to take anything away from that!
