It is a nice enough image but IMHO it could be better. A little work in an editor would improve this by showing more detail.
I hope you don't mind me making adjustments to your image but here is a sample, admittedly there is some loss in color in the background but this also could be remedied.

Bird on a wire. The DOF is great....adds to the winter feel, being mottled and all. You were very lucky to snap the bird before he flew off!!
