About Stuck at home this-evening, ventured out to the back verandah to see what caught my eye...and snapped a few shots.
This is an old, broken pedestal fan awaiting a tip-run.
Levels adjusted, slight crop, tiny saturation and sharpen.

OMIG*D I have some catching up to do!!First free night before I continue with the entertaining again...and I miss my u/f fix....so much to catch up on....this is a real funky shot...certainly makes my eye look at the patterns, the shadows, the bits of rust....great angle! I like it!!

Bek, you are the one person that I can count on to have something interesting ( besides Leonnie) and different to look at almost every day...I love the way that you see things is all :)

rebecca claassen   {K:16443} 1/3/2007
Hey Sandra, long time no see! I know what you mean by the busy!!! I have barely had time to take any new shots...let alone post, reply and comment myself.
I have been looking in on your pf for new stuff, but as yet have not been enlightened...have you posted today??? I will soon see!
cheers and happy new year to you, Bek

rebecca claassen   {K:16443} 1/3/2007

LUCKY!!!! I have to be content with my humble Elements 4...oh well, it has stood by me, so can't complain too much...hehehe
Have fun...B

Sandra Anderson   {K:5837} 1/3/2007

I have to say something ~~GRIN~~ This is cool Bek, for an old fan that is... The Stones would be wrapped to have one looking this good ;)... and you went to Bendigo with this shot languishing out the back door... :)

Lines, curves, angles, shadow, light, rust, DoF... lol... You've got the bloomin' lot kiddo... :)

Well done with sparkles on... :)

Onie...

rebecca claassen   {K:16443} 1/3/2007
Aw shucks....fanks Mum!
Yeah, the ole rubbish collection out the back can be fruitful sometimes (am trying in vain to get springs out of old mattress and rust them up before Doug takes the lot to the tip!) and I am desperate for new material, took shots of all sorts of household paraphenalia this evening....LOL

Thanks for the sparkles,
hugs, Bexta xxx

Stef  Schulze   {K:3335} 1/3/2007
Nice One Bek,

It took me a while to realise what this is, marvelously done. You have quite an eye for the extraordinary shot.

Cheers
Stef

rebecca claassen   {K:16443} 1/3/2007
Thanks so much Stef, I must admit...I am a bit twisted...:^) and also very starved of interesting things to snap at the moment, so all of the mundane household objects are getting a beating at the moment!!
Happy that this made you wonder for a moment or two...
cheers, Bek

Partha Pal   {K:11524} 1/3/2007

rebecca claassen   {K:16443} 1/4/2007
Thanks so much for this comment and the 'wired' one Dear Shirley, your input is always appreciated, as you know.
I was so desperate to capture something different, but as usual...had nowhere to go...ah well.
cheers, Bek
