Hi Christine,
Happy New Year to you and your family.
As you know, in the wild these guys fly off shortly after being spotted, but in urban ponds where people feed them, they become very tame.
This one is very cooperative and besides this guy the Civic Center pond holds Buffleheads, American Wigeons, Common Mergansers and Hooded Mergansers.
The best time to go shoting in that pond is between 9:00 and 11:00AM.
