About Howling wind, driving rain and a mottley group of 3 die hard photographers braved the elements and stood in wild conditions on the Pennines.

Weather was pants but the company was superb with Ade and Mac - as was the fodder at the pub that we found later on :-)

This picture was taken directly under a pylon carrying about 440kV. Watching the huge insulators blowing about in the wind we decided not to hang around for too long !

Just about thawed out now ... a few hours later !.

This is a very cool silhouette/abstract, Stephen. It's also taken from a creative point of view. It alsmost looks like it could be a macro of a spider's web.
I also enjoyed reading your 'about.' It seems you have a bit of a poetic streak as well as being a photog.
Cheers, J.

Thanks Ryan - unfortunately, every shot following this had dust on the sensor. This was due to the electro magnetic field produced from the 440 odd thousand volts just above my head. I doubt I will be taking similar shots in the future lol
