Love the rich light and the imposing sky. A good idea to keep the foreground grass out of focus, I think. I imagine the old barn wcould yield up a few more decent images if you got in closer.

I agree. There are many lovely old barns around Ottawa that are quite photogenic. Unfortunately, I don't own any of them. I am not the type to trespass to get that kind of shot. In this case, my focus was on the light quality.
