We have lived near water for 26yrs Kelly as part of my husbands work commitments... also, as a Pisces, can fully understand the attachment to water and all its joys... :)

Beautifully photographed water lillies (sp?) Water lillies are not easy to photograph. Being white, it is diffult to not over expose them. Your exposure looks perfect. Also, because they are on or near the water surface most people including myself shoot them from above. You have wisely shot them from the side or at a very low angle. Most flowers look better when show from this angle and lilly are not an exception. Everything else is great as well, eg bg and colour. An excellent image.

I wonder WHO would NOT like water lilies???? These are such decorative flowers. You can spend hours watching them! You found a very good angle. And I like it that they are not totally in bloom, so their petals are still young and crisp. The touch of red is so lovely!

A blast of white light! And what I like more: a high contrast with dunkle green. The little red theads are a touch of elegance. I too love water lilies. Beautiful, Kelly.
