Very well done

Thanks Shirley. I would have liked to get out of the city lights for a better view but I was happy to have a fairly cloud free view this night.

Bruce Harper   {K:5305} 1/22/2007
Thanks John - did you get a look at it, should have been good over a dark WA sea.

Bruce Harper   {K:5305} 1/22/2007
Thanks Rafael, I was happy to finally get a cloudless night to see this rare phenomenon.

Shirley D. Cross   {K:140542} 1/23/2007
Yes indeed, Bruce...you are welcome!:)

You lucky dog.....you had clear enough skies to catch it.....looks like the wind was blowing the comet off it's course though.....haha

This was the third night looking for it Tim,luckily I did finally get a break in the clouds. They came over again soon after this shot was taken. A friend drove a few hundred km west and got some spectacular shots with the tail spread across the sky, but then he's a mad keen astrophotographer and could track it for several minute exposures.

Awesome shot Bruce, I had no such luck. The motion in the windmill adds a nice touch.
Regards,
Collin.

You're welcome Roger, those fires are a pain in more ways than just the obvious aren't they.
