Funny title with the halo effect (you did not notice it until later, eh?) and Tori's eyes are wonderful. Well done.

No, Jan, that was my intent as soon as I saw the wagon wheel in the background, which is why her head is so perfectly centered in the halo. ;)

Very nice portrait Paul!
Love the composition and background! :)
Excellent smile and focus on the eyes.
Better hold on to this one my friend she's going to be famous!

hence the Saint title great eyes

very well composed - love that wheel halo - gourgeous natural light too

Hehe. It was a natural backlight, but I augmented it with some fill flash. I always work to figure out the f-stop that coincides with the ambient lighting, so my 580 fill doesn't darken the background too much.

natural light play on the left makes her charming. Cheers, NJ

wonderful eyes perfectly captured.

What a beautiful shot Paul. The wheel in the background makes it classical! I'm trying to visualize if a softer flash light would make it even more beautiful but don't know, it's beautiful as is!

Paul Lara   {K:86864} 2/5/2007
Thanks, Fadel. I guess I could try to add some diffusion to soften the shading.
