| About |
Starting with this one, the next 84 images (at least 84) will be about mountains, perhaps with some breaks now and then for photos of Lucerne (as always ;-))
Most of the time I don't like the way that mountains are usually photographed. I miss that kind of silence and distance that one encounters up there. So the images will be perhaos a bit "too personal" but I hope that they will be still enjoyable.
This was a cold but very sunny morning at Hergiswil and a small cloud flying by Mt. Pilatus. I thought that a grainy photo would best preserve the cold and shiny atmosphere and so I tried pushing up from 100 to 200. The image comes close to what I imagined. Only the cloud itself is a bit less white than I thought. Anybody any idea why?
