Neat one, Christian. Neatly divided in half there. The window makes for an interesting "diversion"! Cheers, Gary

This is very clever, Christian. An artistic abstract, with imagination. What might be hidden behind the window. Regards, Markus

Hi Christian! I like how the light divides the picture, trying to brighten up the dark world inside the monastery. Great simplicity!

Equal measures of light and dark. Simple and effective, a fine architectural abstract. I like the reds too. Regards, Gary

Thank you Gary. Nothing could be done to place the shadow line exactly at the corner of the window. It's not perfect - almost - thus emphasizing the "as seen" impression.

Thank you Shirley. Simple, if not simplistic : just a flower in one of the lower corners is missing...

Thank you so much Markus. Many of the cells can be visited - as this has now been turned into a major tourist attraction. The interior were fascinating, but very hard to photograph. Under a very blue sky, at 2300m, the contrasts were extreme. Very, very hard to master the exposure.

But, as a master of photography, you mastered it, Christian. The possibility to taking a series of shots with varying exposure makes it a bit easier. Also the option to check immediately after the shot. Some advantages of digital photography. Regards, Markus
