I like the fall colours - the contrast and tonal range to this, although shot digital, as an old-school film feel. What you're begging for here is some sky. White skies like this just kill landscape images. Have you ever tried using a polarizing filter? On a nice day, this will help a lot. If it was just an overcast day, then I'd suggest just waiting for a day with either more dramatic clouds, or bluer skies.

Hi Kevin, I appreciate your comment about the sky. I go to this arboretum 4 or 5 days a week every Spring and Fall but I don't always get there under ideal conditions. I posted this image mostly for the color in the trees and the refections. Yes I have been using a Polarizing filter since 1946. BILL NAGY
