About We went back to the spray lakes area today just in time for the sunset. The clouds were amazing from our vantage point and i shot plenty of digital film as a result. The temperature was getting fairly cold with the wind whistling through us. My D80 battery was running low from being to cold but it hung in there until the sun had set.

I think this is the best of the 4. How cold is it there in Celcius ?

Tim  Schumm   {K:28854} 2/5/2007
It was around -6 degrees C, but then the wind made it much colder feeling. my fingers would freeze up in seconds when my gloves came off.

thats soooo cold compared to what we have in Kolkata. But the Northern Himlayan region which are all 12000 ft are -12 now.

Very nice landscape, the colours are very well saturated. Regards

You always amaze me with the beauty you capture. Breathtaking. :)

Hi Rebecca,
I have to say that living where i do is a big part of it. The landscape here is so consistently stunning that most people with moderate skills could get great shots to be proud of if they would only make the time to venture forth and come out here.
I am lucky as i grew up here and only in my later years have i really begun to appreciate the fortune of my karma to be here. You would love it i am sure!
