This has a very elegant sense of line and tone. The simple cross plays softly upon the folded inner form, supporting and containing. I've also a sense that you're presenting the scene as encountered without making it more formally acceptable by improving contrast, etc... It's seems to be a genuine compliment on a long useful life.

You're absolutely right about the contrast, Bob. A lot of the time I'll do a lot of work on contrast, but this was almost exactly as I found it. It just works well as it is with little tonal variation.
