Interesting idea, quite creative to use selective focus on that band across the eyes and ear. I presume this was done in photoshop. I find it a little distracting, but it really highlights those intense eyes. Cool backlighting.

Wow, very intense. This is a look I have aimed for with many of my friends, and I just can't figure it out. You are a master of intensity.
