About I am getting altogether sick of snow I think, so this shot is from the height of color here in the Canadian Rockies during the fall. We were hiking up to Chester lake just in time to catch the evening light as well as the reflections on the valley creek.

Great capture of the ominous mood of the mountain and clouds. The purple tones in the grass complement the colors in the mountain, making this a really special shot. Regards, Debra

Tim:

Amen brother, I was thinking there was no end to those cyanoscapes, as thrilling as they are, I would think that you've run out of paint by now...

This one's nice - a vacation from the current weather.

Wonderful lighting and colour here, Tim! I know what you mean about the snow, I seem to get that every year about this time!

Gurmeet  Sapal   {K:661} 2/22/2009
Needless to say that it is a fabulous composition but what i like the most is extreme warm tones and the cool blue of the sky in one frame. The texture of nicely aligned rocks add to the details. And I am sure the print would be many time more pretty than watching it on monitor...
