Suitable title! Itīs incredible how people find beauty and peace in places that appear very cold to the spectator.
Heatwave? We has a month of heat in July 2006. I donīt remember experiencing this in Denmark ever before.

Appearing very cold, Annemette? Well, I didn't give a thought on that.
That day, it was almost +40C, and street folks and macadam were running soft. On the countrary, the resolute gait of the pair on right shows that they don't give a damn regardless, marching past construction site in the background on the way to cool shade looming out of viewer's reach. The woman on the left found her little paradise on cloven patch of ground. Life goes on, misguided as it is in the big, sweltering, sh..y city.

Oh not physically cold, but industrial cold;-)
I personally hated living in the city needing to get away from all the walls and brick. Still I always had an ability to find small peaceful places with a spot of green there where I could find my peace. THis is what this image reminds me of:-)
