Strong tones for black and white and I like the chaotic layout of the wood. Great capture for the project.

Hi Wayne,
Wonderfull shot of this recycled wood. Good representation of "raw materials". I like the composition and nice tones. B&W is an excellent choice and textures come out fine. You have a nice portfolio, my friend. Keep on going with this nice work. Compliments !, and I like your statement in your public profile about how photography can connect people and countries. I have the same experience here and also when shooting photo's in other countries. Maybe the photographers of the world can make that difference by showing that beauty is everywhere, when you have an open eye and mind for this.
Friendly greetz and wish you and yours all the best, Albert Jacobs :)

Albert, Wow!, What a kind and thoughtful comment! I really appreciate your encouragement as well! I hope to one day be able to travel the world like so many photographers here but I will have to patiently wait for a career change before that. In the mean time though I will sit back and enjoy these delightful conversations and beautiful images from everyone everywhere! Just think back 20 years ago you and I would never had the oppertunity to even know each other existed but now we can break down all kinds of barriers, loose our stereotypes, and begin to learn about each other on an individual basis as opposed to someone elses perceptions of someone else. As much as I might get upset with the ways humans can misuse technology, there are many great things that can come from it as well.
Thanks again, my friend and a wonderful day to you and yours!
