About This was taken at an historical old B+B homestead called Ravenswood, on the Calder Highway near Bendigo. I spent the night there, and in the morning roamed around the grounds with my camera at the ready.
This homestead is over 100 years old and was once so big it had it's own train station!!
It's current owners are renovating various sheds and servants quarters into more guest accomodation, and the historical feeling to this place is amazing.
I came across this chair, tall and narrow, leaning against a shed, waiting for someone to sit awhile.

Bek, nice light and great details. Like the different colors between steel and wood! Very well done my dear friend! Congrats and many greetings, Ralf

wonderful textures you captured

What a find. The monochrome, uncompetitive, background really brings out the texture and subtle colours in this old chair. I like the bits of tree left on the seat. Simple and very effective image.
Regards, Gary

A nice find, the texture and colour of the wood is very nice and the lighting enhances this.

Meg. :)

Love the crop, color and texture. Shouldn't this go in the Alternative Perspective Project?
--Best to you, Jan

If you say so Jan!!
Thanks so much for the great comment. This crop was in camera and I have many shots of this odd little chair, it was tall and narroe and didn't look very comfortable at all.
cheers, Bek

Thanks. Actually I was referring to "Alternative Perspective", a different project entirely.
