About The hippopotami were just fed and while I could not get a capture of the wonderful yawn there were known for . . . They had NO issue wading and swimming for my amusement! LoL!

The colors are fantastic in all of your zoo shots.

The image looks so true to life with the colors, ripples in the water and the sunlight.

I hope you got some images of the lion. I can only image how great fantastic those must look after your zoo preview. Show me the lion!

I love the colour saturation on this Doyle, I always catch them in full mid-day sun when they end up washed out.

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99842} 3/8/2007
Thanks Meg. I totally understand . . . it's the same with me . . . so I was lucky (and persistent) here. Moreover . . . I get them just sitting underwater and not moving a lot. Still waiting for the classic yawn though!! :)

Doyle, a very nice one, of which I only think that a light underexposure would make it better, since it could help avoid the almost white part on its neck, and would turn the water more intensly turquoise.

Cheers,

Nick

Intriguing point Nick . . . I may have to revisit the original and look at different drops in exposure at the RAW conversion level.

OK Doyle, looking forward to seeing how the result may look.
