Hi Ade,
Now I'm home sick!!! My Great grandfather helped to build this reservoir. The Ladybower village was flooded to accommodate this dam. The story goes that on certain nights you can still hear the church bell ringing from under the water:) Anyway to get back to the photo:) I like the way you have used the jetty to lead the eye out onto the water and beyond to the beautiful cottage, the rolling green hills and the blue English sky. Well done!! You have brought back very fond memories of home Thank you

You brought back happy memories for me also as I had family live very close to this shot. I spent many wonderful times walking round this reservoir as a teenager.

I love the jetty and also that broody sky which adds a great sense of drama and atmosphere to the shot.
