About This is from a Hot spring near Banff on the Vermillion Lakes. Not hot enough to get into but warm enough to keep it freezing all winter. It makes for good photo in the morning when the temperature is -20C like on this day

-20 ? its really cold. For us in Calcutta, the winter is almost over. In 2 days we have Holi or Dol , the festival of colours , which marks the arrival of spring.

Nice contre-jour capture of the mist rising off the water, Tim! I like the effect of the lighting on the ice and frost covered vegetation at the water's edge, too.
Dave.

Very dreamy mysterious image due to the mist and the ice on the straws. I´ve seen hot springs in Iceland that were boiling. THis seems more calm and pleasant being around.
Best wishes
Annemette
