Hi Tittia, the poet,
Another poem, only without the words. Love the symmetry and the branches composing almost a lace.
Poem it is.
Marilia

Ingrid, me a Teacher in PS???? If you would ask me to describe how I got it to look as it does? ...I couldn't actually tell you. Just pushed some buttons on PS

Marilia, I'm blushing all over, thanks very much.

Paolo Dell'Aquila   {K:5046} 5/3/2003
Great use of pattern, perfect toning, great composition too. A masterpiece.

Christian Barrette   {K:21125} 5/3/2003
Very fine composition. A rare case where the main theme would be echoed by an element of the background. Your work is signed by a marvelous clair-obscur linked to a long tradition in flemish visual art.

Marc Robin   {K:3385} 5/3/2003
Great Shot! Only wish it were a bit bigger...i guess it being part of a photo makes that difficult. Now we just need a little poem to go with it! ;-)
Cheers, Marc

Titia Geertman   {K:5579} 5/3/2003
Oh my gosh and you all are saying such nice things about this photo and I had seconds thoughts about submitting it.

Christian I'm flattered.

Marc Robin, how about:

In fantasy I roam the path
Of bonded trees in yellow light
Towards my dream of make believe
Where all is true at dark of night

You'll find the original picture here and you can see it's only a small part I took.

Don Loseke   {K:32503} 5/17/2003
This is one for the wall. Somehow I missed it when posted. Such elegant trees in the foreground and again in the background. Great work.
You commented on my abandoned house. Yes we live very close. I can see that place f rom our yard. We live in Nebraska during the summer months and in Arizona during the winter months. We have the best of both worlds. Try to keep warm all the year around. As you get older you don't tolerate the cold too well. Thanks for commenting on my pictures. You do excellent work. Don.

Fabio Keiner   {K:49344} 5/17/2003
branches too slim and twigs too fine
to hold the sun
can you hear them talking
in whispering winds
?
:)

Titia Geertman   {K:5579} 5/17/2003
Thank you all for your replies.

Ahh Fabio, lovely words you wrote there, see...there's a poet in everybody. Thanks, I appriciate it very much.
