Can feel and taste the salty dampness nessa...:)
Lovely relaxed feel in this... the soft focus gives a more intimate feel... Wonderful action with the surf and it's riders in the background... The *buddies* moving from mid to foreground, extra nice DoF... colour and contrast...:)

Nessa - The hazy effect of the water behind them is an excellent backdrop and the color & detail is great. Good capture and good post-processing. Beach shots are hard to expose properly.

Great candid beach shot !! Beautiful soft tones.. and colors...
Also it appears very windy (?) I like the spray from the ocean, and the baggy clothes that are pinned against the hooded one ... ha!! Looks fun!! The soft colors really make this shot special IMHO... 7++++++

Good shot, I like the clarity of the foreground instend of the blurness of the background, I think it will be veeery interesting to see these people fighting the waves!

Thankyou for both your comments ..these waves are very strong and manned by about 18 lifeguards..they had a rip tide last year that carried people out to sea they rescued about 93 and no loss of life ..nessa
