About A straight shot with the minimum manipulation in PS: Slight crop and a little tweaking of contrast, brightness and sharpening.

Played with the skeletons of some gooseberries - placed it on a sheet of fancy wrapping paper and used the normal room lighting.
I tried here to create a fusion between the organic and the artificial by playing with camera angles and shallow DoF - your opinion?

Joggie:)
Very attractive frame. Shallow DOF lets lights nicely flow in beautiful neons colours.
Warm hugs:)
Viola

Joggie this is a delightful EXPLOSION of color and form . . . natural lines and man made lines . . . I LOVE the blues and overall concept in this . . . Great work!

I like the final composition. Was camera motion also involved?

Larry Fosse   {K:65863} 3/10/2007
Well. I couldn't tell what I was looking at from the thumb...however you've created a very colorful and interestin abstract Joggie

Thanks James - no camera movement or any other tricks, PS etc. Straight out of the camera with slight adjustments. The shallow DoF created some of the coloured areas to appear to have motion blur though. Kind regards.

Excellent. Thanks.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 3/10/2007
Very fascinating combination that works well. Great texture and appealing photos in the right back of the image. The only thing that bothers me are the blue colours in the foreground. They provide good colourcontrast, but they bother my eyes.
Have a nice weekend:-)
Annemette

Very colourful and bright abstract, Joggie! It's amazing what you can do with common, if unrelated, objects!
Dave.

I looked at the other version first Joggie... :))) and after seeing this, my words remain the same Sir...:)

It is stunning in, for me, I can see the *electrical discharge* of colour and birth...:)

Brilliant concept, created and brought to a spectacular fruition... :)

Onie...

Hi Joggie! Interesting & original idea, well executed. Makes me think of ... cremation Breathtaking colours, very well composed!

Eb Mueller   {K:23254} 3/11/2007
Joggie, this is as good an abstract as any PS art work. I like the touch of realism imparted by the lacework of the leaf. Fusion is apt title. There is great flow and balance!

John Hatz   {K:148425} 11/24/2007
that's amazing...and like the other photos of that serie, I love that focus using as wide as it could be aperture, the blurness here is a very good element around the soooo interesting and delicated plant that you present, and the colors are amazing too...plus element into your composition the present of vivid colors like here that electric blue that hit very nicely into the brown - green tones. Excellent!
Be well Joggie!
