Hi Srna,
If you read one of the common themes from the comments on this image, I think a few people mention that his smile seems to jump out of the image at them. I think the large smile bright eyes and good nature of the model show very well in this "centered" image. I think this crop and his positioning in the frame help to project his mood to the viewer. I'm sure his position in the frame has a lot to do with the"smile jumping out" comments. The exposure and out door lighting are also very good.

GReat image, a beautiful big smile to the camera and I like it...even I'm not a fan of smiles here that looks pretty natural and that is very good. hmmm...perchaps on that I could preffere a greyscaled photo but that is just a taste of mine and nothing else...
