About Taken yesterday with Marcus.
My first close up encounter of a predator tearing into his prey. Was almost directly under the pole, but careful not to get rained over....

Halfway through dinner last night, I completely lost my appetite as I had flashback images of this guy. And we had chicken.

Fantastic closeup of this guy, Jinggoy! Excellent detail, and you can almost hear the ripping sounds!

Hi Jinggoy,

Excellent details and textures. I like this close up view - it's not the most common approach, but that's what I think separates it from the others.... Very good photo.

Cheers,

hugo

These Raptors do NOT taste like chicken . . . they taste like duck! LoL!

The only thing better than the title is the shot!! Perfect!

Doyle I <~~~~~

I’ll take your word for it on the taste. LOL!
This is a wonderful angle of shot, it’s almost like we are joining in on lunch!...

I know you will probably get some flack for this image, but as far as I’m concerned it’s exceptional and wouldn’t be out of place on the front cover of National Geographic... Well done!

Meg.

Awesome capture Jinggoy,
This prey looks like a snake...
You and Marcus are doing a great job out there.
Each picture is unique and this one deserves a category on its own.
Congratulations buddy and hope to see you around.

Awesome Jing, I like the way you composed this, very original crop and persepective, I better keep you away from these guys as they love mice, and we wouldnt want to ruin your mouse dinners LOL.. There are 18 hawks ( a new record ) nesting right along the 18 mile drive into pebble beach in montery........
