I love the quality of the light here Bob, how did you do that?? Looks like it was lit from the top? Soft box? Love the subtle light and shadows, gives a very nice mood and renders great texture detail. The composition is very nice as well with the stem leading our eye naturally from the left into the frame. Nice work!

Would you believe direct, noon-day, sunlight? I also used a white foam core reflector for some fill from the lower left. Does look like studio light now that you mention it. Background is the fence in deep shade. These flowers are all gone now.
