About Here is Connor, sporting a rather fetching black eye from his cousin, hiding behind one of the chairs my Dad made. He was being a bit silly, pulling faces and being a typical three year old. Cute little monster.
De-sat, some burning out Mum's packing boxes in bg, grain added to make up for incorrect, non-adjustment of stinky ISO setting.

LMAO bek...love the about here :)

Beauty of a composition, and that chair is just wonderful....I have a friend who has a naughty chair, and that is what this put me in mind of when I saw it..great compo as I said, and great tones too...nice adjustments :)

Hi there Gennaro, thankyou for your kind words,
cheers, Bek

rebecca claassen   {K:16419} 3/21/2007
Hiya Liz, Connor was playing coy, wanting me to take his photo but not moving out from behind the chair. I had just growled at him for licking (????) the back of the chair before this one was taken, so he was sulking...but only for a second!
Am thinking a naughty chair would be no good on its own...would need duct tape as well!! LOL
Thanks for the great comment, made me laugh,
cheers, Bek

LoL!!! I just Love the 'about' Dear Beks . . . and the shot is saved by the fetching look of the wee lad and the creative work and time you put into it. Very nice!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Hi Sascha, he is cute and does like to play hide-and-seek, but is certainly a handful at times.
cheers and thanks for the comment, Bek

rebecca claassen   {K:16419} 3/21/2007
He was cute looking thru' the chair Christine, bobbing in and out, pulling faces. Thanks so much for looking, and I have to say, your night photog class paid off! Time well spent you lucky irl.
cheers, Bek

Yeah well...if you like the fetching look of this wee lad, I can certainly parcel him up and send him over for a holiday with Uncle Doyle!

Did I ever tell you about the time he decided to 'embellish' the new television with a permanent black marker? Then, of course, being the child of a creator(that would be me in case you were wondering), also used his great skills to co-ordinate the couch cushions, floorboards and bookcase!

Needless to say, his career as an interior decorator has been forestalled by his father into a more manly direction, something that doesn't involve maistakes being removed with turpentine.

So just let me know when you would like him to come live with you...er...visit for a little while and I will break out the bubble wrap.

Thanks for lokking, much appreciated...oh...and by the way, he doesn't eat peas, just let Marlyce know ok?
cheers, Bex

DOH!!! Silly me, it wasn't sweet adorable Connor that did all that, as the morning fog clears from my brain, I do distinctly remember that it was the neighbours child that did it. Yes, yes it was definately not my Connor....noooooo.
So, you already know he doesn't like peas..but I did forget to mention that he can't quite swim yet either. Seems a shame as you are coming into Summer over there soon. Oh well, am sure that if he returns...sorry, when he returns you will have taught him to be a fine swimmer.
Right then...moving on....

Just adorable and a wonderful composition, dear Bek!:)

Robin Wickenkamp   {K:16434} 3/22/2007
Uh oh...what do you mean naughty chair alone, would need duct tape as well?...I thought duct tape WAS part of the package...

Great shot Bek...love to catch them peeking from little hiding places!

Hugs...Robin

ps...I'm sure Uncle Doyle is getting his room ready as we "speak", you know how he adores the little ones!

Well Beks!!! We would LOVE to have the wee lad up here to feed our hundreds . . . I mean, play with our hundreds of birds! As it happens we could use a good interior decorator . . . in the aviaries. Did you know that cleaning a bird cage is MUCH easier than cleaing the floor of a bird aviary with hundreds of birds? Yep . . . I was surprised too. I suspect the amount of back-breaking work would decrease dramatically for a person with a shorter stature since the back has less need to bend. Perhaps an energetic young lad might have some ideas on the matter. Don't know where to find one but, then again, during Collin's visit, we can discuss it inside the aviarys (which lock from the outside) and he might have an idea or too!

Sounds like he'd fit in perfect here. I also do not care for peas . . . and, surprisingly, the birds do! Hopefully, he'll enjoy sunflower seeds . . . something some of the birds enjoy from time to time. In addition, not attached to the main house here, is a garage, workshop, office, guest quarters and a bird room . . . I'll clear out the guest quarters as soon as I can find a better place for Delilah to sleep, but the young lad won't be tempted to raid the refrigerator on late nights nor will his much needed sleep be disturbed with post 8:00 PM activity (like TV) since the last feeding is around then and there is NO electricity so he'll be sure to be rested by the 4:00 AM wake up. Just need to check with the missus!!!! :)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Ooooh. Can't swim, huh? Can he hold my drink for me, level, steady and one pace to the right and slightly back? I'm much better teaching kids to swim after I've had a few!!! LoL!

Regards,
Uncle Doyle I <~~~~~

good compo!

ciao!

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99839} 4/10/2007
Oooops . . . Robin's comment threw me off . . . Conner, not Collin (Robin's) . . . is what I meant!!

Pssst. Better be nice to young Conner . . . he might be the one picking out your "Rest Home" some day! ;)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
