This image compulsively encapsulates facet upon facet of what I have been seeing day in day out with my own panoply of inner eyes recently, but have been unable to capture on solid firmament, or comment on satisfactorily, and with a degree of intensity that you don't normally get with things like this.

Thanks so much, Robin!! This was done with the dreambaby, Lensbaby original, one of those shots that just happens sometimes!. I'm the proud new mum of a LB 3G as of today too! I won it!!! hehehehe

WOW! How simple pure beauty can get. This is a stunning picture.
Too bad about the artefacts in the sky. In case you didn't know: it helps to avoid artefacts if you convert an image to BMP before editing or resizing it. Afterwards you convert it back to JPG.
