Just another great shot. I like the texture and detail. I've seen this even in a park setting, where large hawks come in for cute little squirrels, and just munch on a knoll between trees where people would otherwise be having a picnic. It's just what they do. You handle that 30D well. Nicely done.

I can't think of anything that I don't like about this one Marcus. I like the choice of DOF. The bird is clear and natural looking without that "too crisp" look that a lot of bird shots display. The composition (placement of the bird in the frame) is perfect.
The title works well too. He looks like you might want to pet him, at the same time that sharp beak with the blood smear tell you it would be best to not try. :)

Beautiful detal all around. I just now noticed how sharp that beak is!!! Wow, scarey!!! It amases me how soft his chest and body look, and then you get up into that strong looking facial features. What a wonderful contrast. Stunning.
