A realy nice portrait. Fine contrasts between the cold and the warm tones, excellent!

Nice set of lighting, your choice of using bluish background makes a good contrast with the model's skin tone
But the angle of view, I think, would be better if you bend your knee down more a little bit to get lower angle
:)

Nice portrait with great colors. I would suggest you recropp it with photoshop to make the mantel level.

Thankx for the observations.

I wanted the set to look like something at night. I had a tree off to the right with a blue gel shinging through to create the shadows on the mantle. I thought that the candles would also help.

Kristupa, beleive it or not, I was actually on the floor shooting up at her. Notice her position relative to the mantle top, and candles. I shot this several, several different ways. Some of the shots, I kocked the camera a bit left or right to throw in a bit of change.

I may post another shot of her today.
