Nice mood, though I have the feeling the horizon is al little tilted. I enjoyed the view, regards Ilya

Beautiful colours and reflection in the waters of the water, Sue! Nicely composed silhouettes, too.

Another nice shot..and, would you believe it, I have one very similar :-)
It's a shame that the beam of light from the sun highlighting the buoy isn't more pronounced - I thought you'd managed to capture it more distinctly, but I may be thinking of a different shot...somehow I have the feeling you took a few here ;)

Bless.. more to come :) xXx

Thanks for the comment Monique... did check out the horizon in PS & decided this was straight... really hard to judge here though with the way the water curves around the distant shore.

Do appreciate your input, may have another look.

Keep well & bright

Sue:

First awesome!!! Second . . . Look at Mel's shot that just won a BiP for a thought on this - http://www.usefilm.com/image/1284563.html. Just for future reference. Instead of f/4.5 to f/5.6, you might consider f/22 or so. THAT aperture setting will pull out sunrays!! In this case it would have been even MORE beautiful.

Understand . . . just something for you to consider . . . this shot IS beautiful! Also . . . I think the horizon is level . . . though I see why some might find it deceptive.

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Hi Doyle & thank you.

Unfortunately my Lumix only lets me get up to f8!!!!! :( Though will be investing in a 'proper' SLR in the next year or two. That photo of Mel's is fantastic & definately an effect I would like to get.... though alas, will have to wait till I upgrade :)

Hope you are keeping well & bright
