About Here is the artwork for the back of Dog Men Poets' new CD. What do you think?

Look it over, and then take a look at my original image (posted below).

The front of the album was posted previously.

woah, thats some major PS work! good save Paul!

Paul Lara   {K:81643} 4/5/2007
Thanks Peta! I hope they like it.
Better yet, I hope they don't get TOO inspired with this image, and ask me to convert the cover art to a grassy scene as well. :)

Kiarang Alaei   {K:48971} 4/5/2007
Oh...My God!

Great PS work.
Greatly improved over what the original is.
the only thing that i see is that the grass "grain" is going the wrong way. On the hill it goes front to back but the areas you clone appear to go let-
>right.
Thats the only thing I noticed!

Hi Paul, what a lovely work you have here, it is really unusual, creative idea for sure ..
There is only one thing I am not sure about .. which is the area where the sky meets the grass, specially the right side, if it intended to be like this then it is fine to me ..
Very well done,
Regards,

Mark Julian   {K:35624} 4/5/2007
You know, I like this for the front - it gels 100% - just my opinion

Paul Lara   {K:81643} 4/5/2007
Actually, I just heard from the band...they LOVE this shot, and now want me to change pavement to grass on the front image as well. (I knew that might happen). It'll be easier to comp now, knowing the angle, the lens and direction of the sun beforehand.

Thanks for your feedback, Mark!

Great back cover work. Definitely fits into the classic tradition without edging into cliche.

Wayne Winsauer   {K:6320} 4/6/2007
Super Duper Cool Paul!!!
Very creative and imaginative!
I would be more than pleased if I were in the band and had this on my album.
Excellent work!
