Hi Ciana (it's been forever since I've made comments to anyone) -- I love how you bring out character in people with simple portraiture. I'd suggest with this (and the 2 of the boy) that you try something a bit less high-key... the "blowouts" of white are a bit distracting, and I think all these shots would look fine less overexposed. Just a suggestion, because you have some great stuff, and I still have my favorite that you shot (!)
