excellent idea...unfortunatelly, technically quite average...

Edin - thanks for your comment. To make your comment worthwhile, please explain what you mean.

well, several details bother me....as first crop is bad...you might consider central composition and kill that black background part on the left side it drags attention and does not contribute to this photo by any mean...second, wb is bad...eyeballs and teeth are yellow...not so natural...color correction on selected areas could solve this... and as third...image is too sharpened...it lacks softness and more shallow DOF could bring even more dramatic feeling...that's my opinion...I hope it's not too inconvenient :) Idea is excellent and model is great too... Cheers

Thankyou Edin, your time to critique constructively is appreciated. I will take it on board.

Sharpening - yes, I could soften the hair a little more.

Central composition - certainly a valid point also.

WB - I am going through a sepia faze at the moment. WB is something that I don't feel matters to much, I prefer mood. A valid point nonetheless.

Thanks Edin

Fantastic portrait of a beauty...lighting/pose all professional

Heath, I do not really see that many flaws here, it has great tone balance and warm monochrome coloring. I actually like the off centered composition - it's strong this way, eyes should eventually glare stronger but nothing really bothers me much. It's good, dynamic expression doing good job to capture attention. Cheers, NJ

I task that not is large defects perhaps a cut a little more strait would have improved all, but nothing more.
Great idea and portrait.
