Intensity: eye on the ball, ball in the air, attractive and colourful background, bright well balanced lighting.

Let's see . . . you've asked a question . . .
Enthusiasm: Eye on dinner (sound familiar?), ball in hand (LoL - no comment!), half out of shot (intellectually you are pointing out to me that the hand is NOT the subject here), bicycle background (good eye to point out the reflected SPORT theme in the shot), dull subdued lighting (certainly the dull BG DID make the puppy 'pop' more)!!
WELL SEEN!!
Intensity: eye on the ball . . . ball in the air (Harrumpf . . . subtly pointing out that the location of the gaze or the ball really makes no difference what-so-ever), Attractive and colorful background (also seen in children's ball pits . . . but NOT often in gritty Pulitzer Prize winning War Journalism Photos - nice way to point out the lack of importance here), bright well balanced lighting (also found in a photo of a white square).
Which Do you prefer? LoL!

What a jump! Kaylee is flying in the air:-) Amazing that she can do that with those tiny legs compared to her body. Such a sweet actionshot. The clarity is amazing when thinking about how difficult it is to photograph dogs on the move. Good tones as well.

This is why I miss having a dog. My cats don't get enthusiastic over toys. One's in love with a walnut, the other is involved in a messy love triangle with a dog leash and a candy wrapper. They do not jump, period. :)

Yes well, I recently stepped on and effectively crushed Skoot's walnut. The look of abject horror on his face was priceless. He actually MOPED! I've replaced the nut but it just isn't the same. I guess you can't replace true love... unless you're Beau; he's a fickle fickle fiend.
