Hi Nicole, Thank you for your nice comment. I don't have many flowers but I do like tulips and daffodils. A nice lady next door helps me with them. BILL

Great colours - pleasant image, Bill. Please explain to me how you achieved the hazy background and surface - did you use cloning in the process? I'm new to photography and lack a great deal of knowledge.

BILL NAGY   {K:3145} 4/20/2007
Hi Lydia, Thank you for your comment. What I did to achieve this affect is very simple and if you plan to do very much macro work it would be nice to have the device that I used here. It is a translucent light tent and there are many types on the market. This one is called a light cacoon and has two openings to take the picture through. basiclly you set your object up inside the cacoon and use from one to three flashes on the outside to light the subject. I had the vase setting on an inverted glass which I removed by using the cloning tool in PS. BILL NAGY

Soft capture!

BILL NAGY   {K:3145} 10/6/2007
Hi Maryam, I am not sure just what you are refering to by "SOFT CAPTURE" but this was my intention. I planned on using soft lighting in a light tent to give it an etherial appearance. I did quite well in several competitions in the Chicago area. BILL NAGY
