A great Macro Jim . Wonderful detail in the Trillium bud . Like the background . Do you grow this flower ? I'd like to see it open .
I grow Trillium rivale a tiny dainty pink variety , the inner petals freckled with darker pink .

Mavis, this nodding trillium grows wild in our area. when in full bloom the blossom points down toward the ground, and with all of the other wild flowers in the area, plus the dark shade that it likes, I have not yet been able to get a good capture of this flower in full bloom (In full bloom the flower id only about 1 inch in diameter)
