I like the effect of the two different plans on this shot leading to this dimentional effect. The problem is that the volume of teh statue is really important with its black colors and that attracts the eyes; perhaps also the fact that it is not focused also on it disturbs the eye. I would probably tried it with the A-dep option. But I think that all these aspects will not appear so important if the part of the tree was not here, allowing to have an empty space between the hudge statue and the small man.
This is a nice idea, and in fact, well realized Claudia considering that this is a street photography and one can not do what we want ;).

Questa composizione funziona benissimo a mio parere, perché con pochi elementi, una statua, una facciata, un personaggio, riesce a raccontare efficacemente un posto, una vista di paese...
