Ahhhh yea! These little aliens are fantastic...lol... to me that is more ly alien than angel, as all the flowers of that kind...kidding, fantastic ophrys orvhid with beautiful colors!!!
Hmmmm....you did something at the background isn't it? Looks like maskwork on program, roundly the flower gives that idea as some 'hairs' are sharp and some others not.

Those flowers always facinated me :) I seem them as aliens as well :)
The work done in this picture is on the background only, to burn the edges using the burning tool in PS.
The sharpness of the flower and the ''Hair'' is due tothe DOF only, using 4f stop only to get some controles depth, this explaines as well the softness in the front groun ..
